You Are In Good Hands

Well, I took all this in and thought it through, inside and out. Here’s what I understood: The good, the wise, and all that they do are in God’s hands. (Ecclesiastes 9:1 msg)

Memorial Day weekend is the traditional start of the summer. As I prepare for Sabbatical, I wanted to let you know that you will be in good hands in the pulpit and in the pastorate this summer.

On Tuesday night the consistory voted to make Mark Mast president of consistory.  Therefore he is able to sign any documents that need to be official, but more importantly it represents his oversight over the operations of the church this summer.  He will be in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to address any church concerns or issues that need to be addressed.

Pam Hansen will continue to oversee the pastoral presence and care in the church.  You can direct any concerns, joy or challenges to her as already happens. Please let her know of prayer requests, hospital visits or any crisis that needs to be brought to the attention of the church.

Birgit Chisholm will continue to be the contact person in the office and she will be able to answer your questions or direct you to a place where they will get answered.
