The 4th & 5th graders will be delivering the food they have collected to the Fishkill Food Pantry this Sunday, May 5th at 10:30. There will be a 4th & 5th grade Sunday School class during the 8:45 service. Permission slips are available and must be filled out, if your child is going on the trip. The Healthy Living ChristCare Group is planning the 3rd annual HRC FAMILY FUN RUN / WALK for Saturday, June 8th at 8:00 a.m. on the Dutchess County Rail Trail. There will be a Tots Trot, Mile, and 5K Run / Walk (3.1 miles). Pre-race training sessions will be held beginning May 4th on Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on the rail trail (from Daddy O’s) and on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. at the John Jay HS track. All proceeds will benefit our own theology students, Dylan Ackley and Patrick Boyd. In response to many teachers and students, HRC’s Sowers of the Kingdom is planning its first summer mission trip to the Dominican Republic in July. The dates for the trip are July 20-27. Love Inc. is a local Christian organization that mobilizes volunteers who work together making a difference by helping people in need in our local communities. Specific ministries within Love Inc. include the Personal Care, Linens, Household Items and Beds Ministries. We request and welcome donations of items particular to those ministries that come from many churches within the local area. The people we serve are badly in need of the items we provide. Things we take for granted are much needed by the many needy people in our area. Hopewell Reformed can help out by placing items in the storage bin which is on the left once you go through the main entrance. Just open the door and the bin is at the base of the stairs. Items will be delivered to Love Inc. in a timely manner. Items in need include:
Person Care Ministry - Bath soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, shampoo and conditioner, razor/shaving cream, toothpaste/brush, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, comb/brush

Also, Bible 365, a group discussion to accompany a read through the Bible, will start on Tuesday, October 16 at 7PM at HRC and will meet every other week for one year.
