Lenten Soup Suppers & Worship begins February 21 Copy

Our Wednesday night Lenten services, leading up to Easter, will have the theme ‘Jesus As Our Model.’ Jesus was dependent on the Holy Spirit and lived a life of P.O.W.E.R. During these five weeks we would like to take a deeper look at the foundations we see in Jesus’s life. We can all implement these foundations in our lives, and as we do, we will grow and impact those around us. We hope that you and your family will be able to join us Wednesday evenings from February 21 – March 21. Soup will be served starting at 6:15 and our services will start at 7:15 PM.

Adult Sunday School Class begins October 1

Adult Sunday School Class, Sundays 8:45 – 9:45 AM

Exodus: Learning to Trust God

As we study the book of Exodus, we will see that Israel faced a constant struggle to trust God completely. In this story of hardship and hope, you’ll discover along with Israel that God–and God alone–is worthy of our trust. Please join us for an exciting journey into the history of God’s chosen people as they move from bondage toward the promised land.

The class will be a 24 week course that will cover two major themes:

Part 1: Liberating God’s People
Part 2: Teaching God’s People

Class Start: Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017
Class Ends: Sunday, Mar. 25, 2018

“I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that lived first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, lives in you.  For this reason I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands;  for God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:5-6)
