If you would like to give a Christmas plant in memory or honor of someone, please complete the flower form and return it to the church office. You can order up through Christmas, but to be noted in the Christmas bulletin, the form must be in the church office by December 15.
We will be posting Christmas cards received by the church on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall. Please check this often to see whom we have heard from! Also, feel free to add your family’s card to the board.
There will be a congregational meeting on Tuesday, December 17 at 7:30 PM in the Community Room. There will be a presentation on the budget, worship plans and a time to have any questions to be answered by church leadership.
Boy Scout Troop 48 will be selling Christmas wreaths at church on12/1/13 and 12/8/13. This annual fundraiser helps to support ourTroop in adding and updating necessary camping supplies. It also helps our scouts to attend summer scout camp. Thank you.
Once again, HRC is offering an opportunity for you to give a gift that will change a life in honor of your family and friends. Catalogs for the Mary Merillat Mission Tree will be available after Thanksgiving with gift ideas that will allow you to become personally involved in the lives of those we serve around the world. There are many items that you can choose from, including bags of food, blankets, medical supplies, construction materials, student sponsorships and clothing.
Look for the Mission Tree table in Fellowship Hall after each service beginning on December 1st. Next, choose a project or item that you would like to “purchase”. Fill out the gift card to present to your family and friends so they will see the gift that you have purchased in their name. We will hang a matching ornament on the Mission Tree for each gift purchased.
Your gifts will bring hope and joy to impoverished people that God loves. Through your gifts you can spread the love of Jesus Christ in the areas that HRC supports such as Mexico, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, India, Africa, disaster victims and right here in Dutchess County too. Please help us decorate the Mission Tree!
