Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion,

for God loves a cheerful giver.

Giving is an opportunity for us to respond to God’s Grace. We give thanks for the many blessings God has provided us.

Giving by Charitable Bequest or Trust

Making giving a part of your will is an excellent way to provide support to our ministry. Since Charitable gifts by bequest are not subject to estate or inheritance tax, your estate is entitled to the charitable deduction at the full fair market value of the gift. Most importantly, bequests need to be documented in your will. The Church office can assist you and your legal attorney in the required standard language to establish your charitable bequest either in your will or through a trust.

 Appreciated Stock Gifts

A gift of appreciated stock provides an easy way to give. By giving appreciated stock, the donor avoids the capital gains tax on the appreciation but received the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the contribution. To initiate a stock transfer from a brokerage account, please contact the Church office at (845) 221-9542
