The Missional Church

Jesus called his church to be in the world proclaiming the Good News of his love and grace.  In our desire to be a missional church, Hopewell Reformed Church strives to be a community that continuously looks out into a world in need and asks, ”How can we join Jesus Christ in that place of need and be his hands, feet, and voice of love and grace?”  If it is by getting our hands dirty helping a neighbor in need or starting a new Christian community for people who need Jesus’ love, Hopewell Reformed Church is a community that will serve those needs, not a community looking to be served.

Outreach and Missions News

Mid-Hudson Love in the Name of Christ (Love Inc.) Update

Love Inc. is a local Christian organization that mobilizes volunteers who work together making a difference by helping people in need in our local communities.  Specific ministries within Love Inc. include the Personal Care, Linens, Household Items and Beds Ministries.  We request and welcome donations of items particular to those ministries that come from many churches within the local area.  The people we serve are badly in need of the items we provide.  Things we take for granted are much needed by the many needy people in our area.  Hopewell Reformed can help out by placing items in the storage bin which is on the left once you go through the main entrance.  Just open the door and the bin is at the base of the stairs.  Items will be delivered to Love Inc. in a timely manner.  Items in need include:
Personal Care Ministry -  Bath soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, shampoo and conditioner, razor/shaving cream, toothpaste/brush, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, comb/brush
Linens Ministry (new or gently used) – Bed sheets, bedspreads, pillows(new), blankets, bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels
